Who is the best actress among them:Drew Barrymore, Kate Winslet , Alicia Silverstone or Aishwarya Rai?
Drew Barrymore, but what about the more "seasoned" ones?
You just listed the little girls. Right now they're just "flavors of the week" Greatness requires a long resume.
This girls don't as of yet. Wait till they're all in their 40s and see if they're still around. Staying power is part of greatness.
My nominees isJulia Roberts
Someone who looks like Drew Barrymore is in a 1951 photo?
Why didn't you post it so that we could take a look?
Edit: Thanks for posting the picture. Except for a slight general resemblance in her face, I just don't see it. I'm a really big Drew Barrymore fan, also, ever since she was a little girl. Wish I could say that she looks a lot like her and hope you're not angry or disappointed that I can't agree.
yeah, E! just confirmed her directing Eclipse. I agree with you, even though I havent seen Whip It, Drew just does not SEEM to be a good choice. I too wish they could get Catherine Hardwicke back but If she turned down New Moon because she didnt think there was enough time to prep for the movie to make it the way she wants it then I doubt she will do Eclipse since the two movies are being filmed back to back. But hey lets keep our fingers crossed. I hope they dont leave anything out of the films when adapting it from the book, even if it means sitting there for 3 hours watching the movie. I hope Drew Barrymore backs out of it.....
P.S. to others. Chris Weitz will be directing New Moon but Drew has confirmed directing Eclipse. I hate when they switch directors.
Below is part of an article. This is literally all it said about Jeremy Thomas.
In 1994 she married bartender Jeremy Thomas in his Los Angeles tavern, where the ceremony was performed by a clairvoyant they reached by dialing a psychic hot line. Their marriage lasted barely a month. She was later married briefly to comic-irritant Tom Green, after her Beverly Hills mansion burned to the ground in 2001. She was the focus of the charming stalker documentary My Date with Drew, in which a lifetime fan went to frightening lengths to briefly gain Ms Barrymore's attention. She is the godmother of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love's daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.
Drew, she is more down to earth, real, and more independently successful with her movie company which produces many major blockbusters like charlies angels, in real life winona is UGLY, Halle is UGLY and her boobs are saggy , and Naomi , well who cares about her no one even knows her, so for the most well rounded and cute of the 3 it would have to be Drew. Hope this helps.
Never Been Kissed (the movie with Drew Barrymore)?
A reporter from a newspaper gets the assignment to go back to high school and come up with a story about teenagers. She just happens to be a total geek and has problems trying to fit in with the kids until her brother comes and for the first time she is popular and well like. Along the way she meets and falls in love with a teacher. At prom her popular friends try to pull a prank on a smart girl (which was what Drew's character was in high school) She stops it and goes off on everyone about the group clicks and reveals that she is indeed a reporter and not a high school student. The teacher she fell in love with gets mad and felt used because he really liked her to. In the end she writes an amazing newspaper article telling her two highschool stories and finding love. She also said that there was a guy that she fell in love with and that she wanted him to meet her on the pitcher's mound at a baseball game and give her her first kiss. The clock is set for 5 minutes but the teacher doesn't show up. Finally two minutes later he shows up and kisses her. The End!
What is it about Drew Barrymore that makes men so freakin' hot?
Straight on, Drew Barrymore is gorgeous (I mean realistically beautiful) she's not pumped full of collegeon and she's not fake. She has this cute 'girl next door' look about her. Shes funny and a wonderful actress :D and she just looks like she would be TONS OF FUN to hang out with :)
However, I have issues with her chin (I guess because I also have a round face and a chin similar to hers) and it bugs the heck out of me :) But its nice to know that some men do find her attractive :D *feels alittle better about my chin now* thank you!
Who would you rather date, Bipasha Basu or Drew Barrymore?
If I were a guy, that is. I'd want to go out with Drew. So she has a lisp, as if! Everyone has problems, they're not empty of them, and Drew is so charming and nice. Bipasha's always really s/utty and mean. She seems that way, at least. Drew, by far!
Drew is very active. She working on a new movie deal now. She is also modeling/spokesperson for a major makeup company. Drew usally makes a movie once a year or two years at the most. She is not an A-list actress and won't get major dramatic roles.

Yes, she plays Casey Becker, the girl at the start of the movie who answers the phone to the killer and then gets murdered. Barrymore was originally asked to play the role of Sydney, but after reading the script she suggested to Wes Craven that she should play the part of Casey Becker instead, in order to shock the audience. And it worked! When you see Drew Barrymore's character die in the opening scene of the movie it makes you think that anything could happen! (Just like in Psycho (1960) when the famous actress Janet Leigh's character is murdered in the shower scene at the beginning of the movie, audiences were shocked because they expected her to be the lead heroine of the movie)
Haha, my answer?
Drew Barrymore has admitted to having sex with women and enjoying it.
Edit: Drew was reported as saying: "I think a woman and a woman together are beautiful, just as a man and a woman together are beautiful." She also said: "Do I like women sexually? Yes, I do. Totally." How hot is that? =)
The show is supposed to be "inspired" by Tori Spelling's life, but takes certain liberties for comedy. It is possible that something like this- or something very similar- actually happened to Tori and Drew, but it just as well could be a compilation of events that happened with one or more other people, or something made up entirely by the writers. We'll probably never know unless Drew steps forward and says yes or no.
Email me if you ever find out, SadEmoKid, cause I'd like to know too!
No, it is "Riding In Cars With Boys"...came out in 2001
Drew Barrymore's baby daddy is addicted to heroin (they did try to help him and he was throwing up really badly), they got caught selling weed. She was trying to become a writer. It was a great movie, though I haven't seen it in years.
is Drew Barrymore directing the third Twilight film?
Entertainment Weekly is running a new bit of news claiming Drew Barrymore may go from her directorial debut Whip It!, which stars Ellen Page, to a much higher profile feature and direct the third film in the Twilight franchise, Eclipse.
Chris Weitz is following in the steps of Catherine Hardwicke and directing the second film in the series, New Moon, which hits theaters on November 20, but it has already been announced Weitz won’t be directing the third film which already has a June 30, 2010 release date, only seven months after its predecessor hits theaters.
Considering the short amount of time between productions it would only make sense Summit would want to attach a director soon so as to have enough time to prepare as the two films will not be filming simultaneously or back-to-back, but there will only be a brief gap between the production of both films.
Should the Barrymore story be proved true I expect we will
As for Barrymore’s Whip It!, Marcia Gay Harden plays an overbearing ex-beauty queen who would rather see her daughter, Bliss (Page), in pageants than skates. Kristen Wiig (”Saturday Night Live”) plays Bliss’ rowdy mentor, Malice in Wonderland. Juliette Lewis is Dinah Might, the star of Austin’s top team and Zoe Bell (Death Race) plays a medical technician moonlighting as derby star Bloody Holly.
Attractive doesn't do her justice. Drew Barrymore is very sexy, in an eclectic, girl-next-door kind of way. She has elements of cute, elements of gorgeous, and she has a sharp intellect and a weird sense of humor, all which make her sexy.
I have a good friend who has all of these same qualities too. Her brother compares her to Drew Barrymore and I can see why he does, although lately I've been comparing Drew to my friend, not the other way around.
TOP OF THE DRESS:
kind of looked like this:
Of course. I loved her for all my life basically. When I saw E.T. The extra-terrestrial the first time when I was a kid, I thought she was attractive and awesome. Over the years I still was attracted to her, and I'm almost 20 now, and I still have a huge crush on her. She is very pretty. How could any guy not like her? Thanks for posting this question. I've been looking for an open question about Drew Barrymore for a while. E.T. is still my favorite movie to this day!
No, they're completely different. I think a fairer comparison might be between Dakota Fanning and Jodie Foster. Drew as a child actor was cast in roles that made much of her looks and not much subtlety. Jodie Foster--and Dakota Fanning-- are better able to handle roles that are a bit heftier and nuanced.
As someone said earlier Dakota Fanning is almost eerily precocious in her interviews. She's a thoughtful actor who makes choices and probably has a healthy support system around her. When Drew was that age she did not have a healthy support system and was basically allowed or even encouraged to self destruct. What Drew's accomplished since is a testament to the huge talent and drive that she has, but lets hope that Dakota does not have to prove herself the same way.
can anyone find me the perfect drew barrymore picture?
Is it true that Drew Barrymore played the little girl in Poltergist 3 (at least for a part)?
Drew Barrymore does not appear in "Poltergeist III".
Following the death of Heather O'Rourke in February 1988 after she finished her work on the film (April-June 1987), it was the decision of director Gary Sherman to temporarily shelve the project during its post-production phase. However, due to the amount of money that had already been spent, MGM insisted that the film be finished and released as scheduled for June of 1988 or they would find someone else to do it. Apparently, after the film was given a PG rating by the MPAA in November 1987, the studio had already decided to have Sherman re-shoot the ending with more graphic scenes, in order to "up" the rating to PG-13. Planning for this re-shoot began in December 1987 and continued into January 1988, but was temporarily put on hold when O'Rourke died Feb. 1. The re-shoot (which used a stand-in for Heather) eventually took place in March, and the film was then "re-edited" and given a PG-13 by the MPAA in April 1988. Director Sherman would later claim that no such "re-shoot" took place, instead insisting that Heather died before they could film the "original ending" and that the current ending using the body double was what they hastily threw together when forced to "finish" the film by MGM. However, he is contradicted by at least six other people who also worked on the film who confirmed that the original ending was in fact filmed before Heather died and that the re-shoot of the ending took place after her passing. These people include producer Barry Bernardi, actor Kipley Wentz, assistant editor Jeanne Bonansinga, composer Joe Renzetti, special effects makeup artist Doug Drexler and the man who provided the voice for the Rev. Kane, Corey Burton.
I haven't found the name of the "body double stand-in".
Here's an interesting bit of Wiki-info:
Heather O'Rourke was interred in a niche on the outer wall of the "Sanctuary Of Tenderness" mausoleum at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. Her tomb is close to that of the late Dominique Dunne, who played her sister in "Poltergeist".

does anyone know drew barrymore official fan site?
I went to Wikipedia and found the article for Drew Barrymore. Under "External Links" the websites dedicated to Drew are as follows:
Wikipedia is very accurate in the websites they find for their particular subjects, so I'd say this is what you're looking for as far as "fan sites" goes. There are other sites with information about Drew of course, but these ones are classified as fan websites.
I REALLY WOULD LOVE TO MEET DREW BARRYMORE...yes that Drew Barrymore?
Um have you watched "My date with Drew?"? Okay, that was a loser right there. Don't become like him, don't act like him...I mean, when you looked at Drew Barrymore, you could just tell she was treating him like one of her other girl friends. Don't embarrass yourself like that one guy did...it's going to take a LONG time if you even do get to contact her. But hey, just do whatever you want.

Many people wish they could go back to high school, knowing what they know as an adult; Josie Geller gets the chance to do just that in the comedy Never Been Kissed. Josie (played by Drew Barrymore) is a 25-year-old copy editor at a newspaper in Chicago. But it's her youthful looks as much as her journalistic skills that finally win her a writing assignment: she's ordered to enroll in high school posing as a teenager for a story on the state of America's youth. Trouble is, Josie was a hopeless nerd in high school (called "Josie Grossie" by her classmates); she had no idea of how to fit in with the cool kids, and she's hardly gotten any better at it in the seven years since graduation. While Josie makes fast friends with a bookish girl named Aldys (Leelee Sobieski), and also takes notice of her good-looking English teacher Mr. Coulson (Michael Vartan), she realizes for the sake of her story she has to infiltrate the cool girls' clique, which will be impossible without someone to give her a crash course in hipness. Josie's brother Rob (David Arquette), obviously the more style-conscious sibling, offers to sign up for the same school to act as the cool-guy friend she'll need to fit in, but just when Josie starts making headway (and starts enjoying high school for a change), her editor changes the focus of the story -- he now wants a feature on improper relations between teachers and students, which will not be good for her deepening friendship with Mr. Coulson. Never Been Kissed also features supporting performances from John C. Reilly, Molly Shannon and Jordan Ladd (the latter in a much more wholesome vehicle than her last cinematic visit to cinematic teen-town, Gregg Araki's Nowhere). ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
Theatrical Feature Running Time: 108 mins
What do you think about Drew Barrymore as an actress?
Barrymore is highly bankable.
She is especially adept at romantic comedies: The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates.
She has explored more dramatic roles in movies such as Riding in Cars with Boys, where she played a teenage mother in a failed marriage with the drug-addicted father, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and Donnie Darko.
Have you ever seen the movie Babes in Toyland w/ Drew Barrymore?
Drew Barrymore was in that movie!! Its the one with humpty dumpty right? If it is i have it on VHS but i havent seen that movie in years! I feel so old :/
Edit: wow i cant believe it never hit me that that was drew barrymore XD maybe it was because i didn't care about actors back then x)
Jaid Barrymore is her mothers name. Here is a bit more about her relatives.
Daughter of John Drew Barrymore and Jaid Barrymore. Half-sister of John Blyth Barrymore. Niece of actress Diana Barrymore. Granddaughter of actor John Barrymore and Dolores Costello, on her father's side. Great-granddaughter of silent film actor Maurice Costello and Mae Costello. Great-niece of famed actors, Ethel Barrymore and Lionel Barrymore.

OOh be her in her younger years then since you are younger. Go to google and check out her Guess modeling photos. She wore a lot of red lipstick and had paler skin. She kept her hair bleach blonde and in large curls. Almost a Marilyn Monroe look. Find some old Guess clothes. That would be cute, a vintage Drew look.
Drew Barrymore was originally cast as Sidney Prescott (eventually played by Neve Campbell). But Drew Barrymore insisted that if she played Casey then it would make the audience think anything could happen. Later on in the movie you learn that Casey was Stu's ex-girlfriend which may have prompted him to kill her and later in scream 3 *SPOILER* you learn that Sidney's half brother told Stu and Billy to kill Sidney and that killing Casey was just a practice to see if they had the guts (pun intended) to be cold killers.
Drew Barrymore is a true person, not like other celebs that are SO fake. she doesn't have to hardly try to act and is great. i have liked her in movies since her 1st one E.T.. i think she just gets better and better.way to go drew!!
Barrymore was born in Culver City, California, the daughter of American actor John Drew Barrymore and Ildikó Jaid Barrymore (née Makó), an aspiring actress born in a Displaced Persons camp in Brannenburg, West Germany to Hungarian World War II refugees. She is of Irish descent on her father's side through an ancestor, actor Maurice Costello. Her parents divorced after she was born. She has a half-brother John Blyth Barrymore, also an actor, and two half-sisters, Blyth Dolores Barrymore and Brahma (Jessica) Blyth Barrymore.
Barrymore was born into the acting profession, her great-grandparents Maurice Barrymore and Georgie Drew Barrymore, Maurice Costello and Mae Costello (née Altschuk) and her grandparents John Barrymore and Dolores Costello were all actors; John Barrymore was arguably the most acclaimed actor of his generation. She is the grandniece of Lionel Barrymore, Ethel Barrymore and Helene Costello, the great-great-granddaughter of John Drew and actress Louisa Lane Drew, and the great grandniece of silent film actor/writer/director Sidney Drew. She is also the god-daughter of director Steven Spielberg, and Sophia Loren.
Her first name, Drew, was the maiden name of her paternal great-grandmother, Georgie Drew Barrymore; her middle name, Blyth, was the original surname of the dynasty founded by her great-grandfather, Maurice Barrymore.
 Rise to fame
Drew Barrymore's star on the Hollywood Walk of FameBarrymore's career began when she auditioned for a dog food commercial at eleven months old. When she was bitten by her canine co-star, the producers were afraid she would cry, but she merely laughed, and was hired for the job. She made her film debut in Altered States (1980), in which she got a small part. A year later, she landed the role of Gertie, the younger sister of Elliott, in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, which made her famous. She received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 1984 for her role in Irreconcilable Differences, in which she starred as a young girl divorcing her parents. In a review in the Chicago Sun-Times, Roger Ebert states: "Barrymore is the right actress for this role precisely because she approaches it with such grave calm." He concludes with saying that "The Drew Barrymore character sees right through all of this. She doesn't care about careers, she wants to be given a happy home and her minimum daily requirement of love, and, in a way, the movie is about how Hollywood (and American success in general) tends to cut adults off from the natural functions of parents."
 Rebellious era
In the wake of this sudden stardom, Barrymore endured a notoriously troubled childhood. She was already a regular at the famed Studio 54 when she was a little girl, smoking cigarettes at age nine, drinking alcohol by the time she was 11, smoking marijuana at 12, and snorting cocaine at 13. Her nightlife and constant partying became a popular subject with the media. She was in rehab at age 13. A suicide attempt at age 14 put her back in rehab, followed by a three month stay with singer David Crosby and his wife. The stay was precipitated, Crosby said, because she "needed to be around some people that were committed to sobriety." Barrymore later described this period of her life in her 1990 autobiography, Little Girl Lost. The next year, following a successful juvenile court petition for emancipation, she moved into her own apartment and has never relapsed.
Other career highlights
One of her more recent roles has involved her becoming a recurring character in the animated comedy Family Guy as Brian Griffin's simple-minded girlfriend, Jillian. She has since appeared in four episodes. She was the subject of the 2005 documentary My Date with Drew. In it, an aspiring filmmaker and a fan of Barrymore's, uses his limited resources in an attempt to gain a date with her.
On February 3, 2004, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Josette Sheeran Shiner, Barrymore, Condoleezza Rice, and Paul TergatBarrymore's films have a worldwide box office gross that stands at over $2.3 billion. According to The Hollywood Reporter's annual Star Salary Top 10, she was one of the actresses with the second highest salary per movie for 2006.
On February 3, 2007, Barrymore hosted Saturday Night Live (SNL) for the fifth time, making her the second female host in the show's history to do so (Candice Bergen being the first), and she still remains the youngest celebrity to host the show (Barrymore hosted in 1982 at age seven).
Barrymore became a CoverGirl Cosmetics' model and spokeswoman in 2007, and was No. 1 in People's annual 100 Most Beautiful People list. In 2007, she was named the new face for the Gucci jewelry line. Barrymore is signed to IMG Models New York City.
In May 2007, Barrymore was
Drew Barrymore. Why? Because she seems to be so down to earth. Drew seems like the type of woman that you can bring home and hang out with. She's not afraid to cry at the movies or get pie on her chin. Plus she has the realistic figure where girls won't think it's okay to starve yourself. Both like to party. But Drew seems like she could party anywhere, not just some ritsy Hollywood/Vegas club where you have to be SOMEBODY to get in. No offence to Paris, she's more the model type who seems to be stuck-up. Hey its working for her. "That's Hot!"
arent you surprised on the way drew barrymore came out the way she did?!?!?!?!?
Drew Barrymore is such a classy and talented lady. I don,t know anybody who does not like Drew. Everybody loves Drew. She has this aura of goodness on her. And she always looks so kind, gentle and adorable. That,s why the whole world is rooting for Drew. She was a kid then and even then she was not even bad. Drew Barrymore is the perfect and good example to kids nowadays. A lady. God bless you Drew.
Drew Barrymore came from a legendary acting family, which can't have been easy, and also did her first movie, ET, while about 6 or 8.
Here's some more:
Drew Barrymore has "no contact" with her mother.
The 'He's Just Not That Into You' star legally emancipated herself from her parents when she was 17 and has barely spoken to her mom Jaid since.
She said: "My mother and I split ways when I was very young and have never really reconciled."
Her relationship with her father - actor John Barrymore, who left before Drew was born and was absent for most of her childhood - was also difficult.
The 34-year-old actress made peace with him shortly before he died of bone cancer in 2004 but is still sad their relationship wasn't easier.
She told W magazine: "He was so feeble, I could actually nail him down. He was such a flighty bird - unattainable and off doing his own thing. I'm sure it's affected my relationships with men.
"I'm sure I'm sadder about it than I admit, but I accept that it was a lot easier than my mother's and my relationship, which is more tumultuous."
But despite her grief, Drew says her troubled childhood came in handy when she was filming upcoming movie 'Grey Gardens'.
Drew plays Edie, a devoted daughter who gives up her life as a socialite to live in squalor with her mother.
She said: "I was excited to bring my own pain to something. I mean, contrary to my happy-go-luckiness, I have so much darkness in there.
"I got institutionalised as a kid, and I felt like I was back there. A lot of times I found myself unhappy and isolated, and the only other time I felt that way was when I was in there."
