Why is the FAFSA deadline during and/or after the school year that you are applying for?
Not everyone goes to school at the same time.
If I wanted to go to school in the summer of 2010, I would have to use the 2009-2010 FAFSA because it falls under that school year.
But if that FAFSA was only available from January 2009 - June 2009 and I was expected to know that in a year's time I would want to go to school in the summer, it would be very unfair to me. It's hard to know that far ahead for certain of what you'll be doing.
By having a large application time, I can apply for regular fall classes like most people do, or I could start in the spring, OR I could go in the summer. And I don't have to plan things almost a year in advance either. I can just do it a couple months ahead when I know for sure that my work schedule won't interfere and I have the time and money to go to school.
2011- year of rapture 2012- year of the end... connection? Maybe?
You seem horribly confused. Daylight savings time makes a difference of one hour and it is added, then subtracted so its net effect on the calendar is zero.
People who try to interpret the bible to arrive at future dates invariably fail. So do so-called prophets like Nostradamus. His followers claim he predicted everything from Obama's presidency to this year's Oscar winners. In reality, when his predictions named places, people or dates, he was wrong 99.5% of the time.
Prophecies of doom in 2012 are based entirely on pseudoscience, superstition and fraud and can be ignored.
Prophecy doesn't work. You're wasting brain cells on this.
If Daylight "Savings"Time is going to be 8 months of the year why even change it back anymore?
Your question prompted me to look the history of daylight savings time up on the internet. According to any of the studies that have been done around the globe, most people use 1% more energy in the evening than in the morning. While 1% doesn't seem like much, collectively the savings amounts to quite a bit. That's the rational behind the extension. But I'm with you. I'd just as soon do it all year long rather than having to adjust to a time changes twice a year.
