Bob Moog died today in 05?

I like that you did a question about Robert Moog. A lot of people don't alway think about the geniuses responsible for inventing the instruments they play. Hmmmm favorite type of electronic music? questions like that is hard to make a choice. One reason why is because now there is so many genres to sub genres that I like. The best I can answer about which would be my favorite type of electronic music is just be able to narrow it down a little. So'll say since the idea of composing seems cool, I'll say New Age, Ambient, Space Music, some certain kinds of Trance, EBM and sort of a ambient-electronic jazz fusion hybrid is what I probably consider my favorites although I like a lot of other electronic music, especially other different forms of Industrial besides shootoffs like EBM and a bit of House music, because I like to go to clubs too sometimes. I guess part of why I like those genres I mentioned the best is because as years went by, I started to get an appreciation for Jazz and Classical music. Jazz & Classical unfortunately is music I'm having to still learn a great deal more about, but I know I like that music a lot. As for Space music, I always liked the idea of going into space and those related sounds always sounded cool to me. Getting back to instruments I think without synthesizers and other electronic instruments, music would've been missing something very important and it would've affected music as we know it today. I mean heck to me it's like a commercial where they say some things in life are priceless - that's the value the electronic sound has on music - it's priceless. For example also think of the pedals people use with guitars too. Plus think of it this way - without the sound of electronic music, guitars would've had something less to work together with to put out sounds that work great together. All these artists dying sucks - it's depressing. Speaking of electronic music, here's a group I posted a question about last year- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAak4e1qXcQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sx6g4kmcyvk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfMlbZqRQX0 Here's another group I think I also posted about last year- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyXi-ObqX8I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9Qv3aJfBY0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tzRzoGu6aY Plus here's another group I posted about in recent months- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIiKxto4Clo And another group I posted about last year- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-IixtxKETU Also I think I posted a question last year about this band- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8klW9trVTQ I posted a question last year about Chrome but I already know you like Chrome, but also when I posted about Kraftwerk last year, I showed their really old stuff too like this pre Kraftwerk stuff such as this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs7RwHC-nOQ Plus another group I mentioned here months ago that's not exactly an electronic band but that maybe you might like is this group- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Q8juMD8x3Q This is another group I posted about months ago also- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ls5ff7B-JUk Now here's an examples of other stuff I like a lot- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqyp0cOfT0g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIIjPJn7iE4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJUaCAIxSk4
