What is Eminem's song "Bully" all about?

Benzino, they had a fairly publicized feud about 6 years ago, Eminem is referring to him being a "Bully" in that he has so much influence in rating rappers in the source magazine and he gives low rating to rappers he does not like.

The song "Nail In The Coffin" by Eminem, who is he dissing and why?

he diss's benzino !! the beef started cause benzino disses eminem in one if his songs but em ignored him so benzino diss him again so eminem gave it to him in 2 songs the souce and nail in the coffin, its a very long story.

Who's worse? Lil' Wayne or Benzino?

This would have been a close call but Benzion opened his mouth and had to come out and make "racist" comments and "rude" and "unnecessary" comments. Plus, his music is just about as bad as Lil "Stains". I have given Lil Wayne many chances on many levels to prove himself, I even PAID $$$ for Tha Carter III like an idiot because my Son wanted it and he didn't even like it (he's 24). Lyrically they both stink, I think they are both poor examples of what RHH stars are supposed to act like in public. Benzino needs some "culture" counseling and Lil Wayne needs rehab really bad!!! Peace & Love :)

benzino is a rapper who is/was a partner in The Source magazine. benzino snd eminem have been beefing for a long time just about em's career. supposedly he ruins chances for black/latin rappers (benzino). anyway, because of this, em wasn't on the cover of the mag for a long time, until benzino was let go.

WORST 25 RAPPERS OF ALL TIME????

Benzino should be at number 1. I really wish people would stop putting Will Smith on worst rapper lists. Just because the music he makes is poppy it doesn't mean he's got no skills. The guy has a classic album. How can someone with a classic album be on a worst rapper list? And even lower than K-Fed? Come on.

Who won that Benzino Eminem beef? Did it ever end and and how? Harder to follow that kind of news in Europe?

For years, Eminem was called the rising star of the publication. After Eminem received a rating for his album The Marshall Mathers LP, which was judged two "mics", it was later changed to a four "mic" album following numerous complaints from readers. Eminem was upset and addressed the magazine on his follow-up album The Eminem Show. When the situation escalated, Benzino then decided to air out his concerns with Eminem. The rapper then claimed that Eminem's success ruins black and Latino rappers' chances of success. Benzino believes that corporations are controlling and supporting Eminem, which allows him to talk about meaningful topics, while black rappers must rap about materialistic things. It is believed that Benzino held MTV responsible for the problems facing hip-hop. Executives at the MTV Video Music Awards allowed Eminem to show up with over 100 blonde clones dressed like him marching on stage for their 2000 awards show. Benzino claims that most of the blame should belong to Interscope's Jimmy Iovine for Eminem's inevitable rise to stardom. The one thing that most angered Benzino was the lyric from "Without Me," from The Eminem Show: “Though I'm not the first king of controversy/ I am the worst thing since Elvis Presley/ To do Black music so selfishly/ and use it to make myself wealthy". Then, Benzino considered this to be the last straw. Before Benzino released his next album, he recorded a "diss" record mixtape addressed to Eminem. In some of his interviews he has stated that Eminem is a part of the corporate "machine" and is destroying hip hop. When Eminem caught wind of Benzino’s comments, the rapper decided not to respond, which angered Benzino even more. Shortly afterwards, Benzino went ahead and recorded a diss track called "Pull Your Skirt Up" and featured the song on his second album Redemption. In response to "Pull Your Skirt up", and the first diss record by Benzino, Eminem responded with two viscious tracks in retaliation, "The Sauce" and "Nail in the Coffin", attacking both the credibility of The Source, and indeed, the rap career of Benzino. Not to be outdone by Eminem, Benzino threw out the claims of a corporate takeover and started to insult Eminem personally. He recorded a response to Eminem’s lyrical attacks by threatening his daughter and dubbing him the “2003 Vanilla Ice” and “Rap Hitler.” Eminem decided to air the feud with Benzino out on radio. Deejay personality Angie Martinez allowed Eminem to express his problems, and branded Benzino as the “worst rapper in the world”. Benzino phoned in later, threatening to fight Eminem if they crossed paths, much to the dismay of his record label. Elektra Records then dropped Benzino off of their label before his second album was ever released, due to poor record sales. Benzino's album Redemption failed commercially, selling around 23,000 units. Meanwhile, The Eminem Show sold 8 million copies. Benzino has also been the subject of scrutiny for using his magazine as a personal promotional platform as well as a tool against his enemies. This would prove to be a costly mistake. In 2003, The Source released recordings of Eminem which included derogatory references to blacks and women. Eminem apologized for making the tapes but also stated The Source's vendetta against him were the primary reasons for the allegations. The recordings would subsequently become the subject of a lawsuit from the rapper.[1] Eminem then sued The Source for defamation and copyright infringement. The federal courts allowed an injunction to distribute a minimal amount of lyrics of the alleged tape. Benzino and his publication then ignored the injunction and went forth to publish the entire lyrics on its website and in its magazine. By doing so, The Source was found in contempt of court and were forced to pay Eminem and his label, Shady Records, a large compensation sum. Benzino's actions would prove to be detrimental not only to the publication, but to his own reputation and credentials. Later, Benzino and The Source would urge video and radio stations to ban Eminem's video, "Just Lose It", and issue an apology to Michael Jackson. The video depicts Jackson in a negative light and the publication wanted to boycott the rapper. In spite of their efforts, BET was the only network to ban the video. BET claimed Benzino was not the reason for the banning, but rather that it was out of admiration of Jackson. Eminem released the single "Like Toy Soldiers" from Encore, in which he states he'll "walk away from it all before it gets any further". Undaunted, Benzino responded with the "diss" track, "Look Into My Eyes", in which he claims Eminem does not want to fight anymore because he is scared. While visiting a Detroit radio station, the publication's founder Mays and Eminem got into a heated dispute, which resulted in Benzino feuding again. This time his beef included rappers 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Trick-Trick and many others who were associated with Eminem. There were numerous reports that Benzino had threatened editors to write a critical piece about G-Unit after comments were made by members of the group. When Mays was injured after a confrontation with Busta Rhymes, Benzino began criticizing and dissing him. The aftermath from feuding with Eminem caused seemingly irreparable damage to the magazine's credibility. This forced Interscope and other record labels to pull advertising from The Source as well.

Who is the worst rapper alive?

No order: - Birdman - K-Fed - Benzino - Yayo

Who was Eminem takling to in the song "The Sauce"?

Benzino, from the source magazine. Benzino was an older guy trying to kickstart his s*****-a** rapping career by makin eminem and his affiliates like g-unit, Obie trice, 50 cent, ect. look like assholes and give them bad ratings in his magazine. He dug up a recording of Em saying n*****, but instead of just saying he's "not racist" he rapped the song "yellow brick road" to explain he grew up in a extremely black influenced hood, along with " toy soldiers" and "the sause" and bezino s*** his pants, backed down, and got fired, because he destroyed the sources rep. XXL is the good rap magazine now. ja rule can suck it also

How did eminem and benzino/ ja rule feud start?

Ja Rule vs Eminem and 50 Cent The origins of Ja Rule and Eminem's rivalry is not known for certain. MTV claimed it began after Ja Rule and his label head, Irv Gotti, were involved in a physical altercation with 50 Cent. 50 Cent reportedly took out a restraining order against Gotti, and several other performers have attacked him for "snitching" as a result. After Ja Rule insulted Eminem in a song, he responded on a mixtape by DJ Kay Slay with a freestyle collaboration with 50 Cent. "Irv Gotti, too much Bacardi in his body/You ain't a killer, you a pussy/ That ecstasy got you all emotional and mushy/Bitches wearing rags in photos/Ja's word being quoted/In The Source, stealing Pac's shit like he just wrote it" to the beat of Tupac's "Hail Mary". Eminem also appeared on a DJ Green Lantern mixtape, with Busta Rhymes, insulting Ja, Murder Inc. (Gotti and Ja Rule's label), Benzino and Royce Da 5'9". Ja Rule has responded with "Em, you claim your mother's a crackhead/ And Kim's a known slut/ So what Hailie's gonna be when she grows up?", referring Eminem's ex-wife, Kim, and daughter, Hailie. Eminem is rumored to be recording a track with his daughter attacking Ja Rule.

what is murder inc?????????????

Murder Inc or The Inc. Records was a record label started, ran and own by rapper Ja Rule from years 1990-2007 under Def Jam and in the early years up until around 1995, the Murder Inc name was only really used for the group of Ja Rule, Jay-Z & DMX before they parted ways and decided to go solo again. Ja had great commercial success during his time at with the label and he had began to try a build a movement or team of such signing up rappers like Vita, Black Child & Cadillac Tah to the Murder Inc brand, but towards the end of it's run as a label Ja Rule had got himself into a lot of "beef" with fellow rapper 50 Cent and his G-Unit Records. Overtime the beef between the two labels began to escalate into violance and began to drag other rappers in from the industry and it became a larger argument than just between 50 and Ja, hence why Eminem on some tracks talks about Ja Rule and Muder Inc as he took sides with his close friend 50 Cent in the beef. One of the main reasons for this was because 50 Cent also supported Eminem in his own beef with another rapper named "Benzino" who at the time was going at it with the Shady camp, so it worked out that 50 and Em began to battle each others beef. The story and background into the beef is a lot larger and more complex but is well documented if you look into it. As for the moment Murder Inc is on a hiatus as a label and there's doubts whether it will ever start back up again, but Ja Rule is out of prison and is still making music on his new label Mpire records.

Buy or Sell: Benzino is the worst rapper ever?

I'd buy that in an instant, Benzino not only sucked at rapping but he forced The Source (what used to be my favorite rap magazine) to lose all of its credibility. Am I the only one who remembers the multiple issues of The Source that said 100% Benzino Free?

Jay Electronica's Interview with Benzino?

Yeah, I watched this a while ago. For Jay Elec to sound so intellectual and articulate on tracks, dude sounds like he has cerebral palsy when he speaks. I do get a 5 percenter vibe from him..."they tried to do it with Vanilla Ice & Marky Mark but they weren't successful..."? wtf? Marky Mark & Vanilla Ice were gimmicks, and Eminem is just a grossly overrated white rapper. How "Satan" is using Eminem as some sort of pawn is beyond me... I do find it odd that Eminem's manager would call Benzino to ask him to stop dissing Em. Why would you even be a little concerned that someone as irrelevant as Benzino is bad mouthing your client?

Why Is Benzino So Hated?

How did the Eminem Benzino beef start?

Benzino is co-owner of the source... the source gave Em 2 mics for the marshal mathers LP, which was a ridiculously low rating, but it seems that a lot of the sources ratings are biased, either way, that's how it started, with eminem dissing benzino on his next album, the eminem show. EDIT: to the guy above me... you got things a little mixed up. the white Elvis... haha Elvis was white... Now Benzino did basically try to say that Eminem was ruining the game, "because he had the support from supposed corporations to rap about whatever he wanted, whereas blacks could only rap about materialistic things" now this was all a load of sh!t, so that's why Em was p!ssed. Benzino was not fired, nor did he lose the magazine, although his record label did drop him after he threatened to fight Eminem if the two were to meet up in person.

why did benzino and eminem have beef who else did eminem have beef with?

Benzino, a member of the group 'Made Men', previously co-owner of The Source magazine and friend of Ja-Rule who had previously been in a vicious battle with Eminem decided to avenge by using his magazine to turn influence the opinions of the loyal readers. Claiming Eminem is part of 'The Machine', a system where he claimed Interscope and in particular Eminem or Jimmy Iovine was preventing the hood making it's money, Benzino ran a hate campaign on Eminem along with a comic series portraying himself as the savior of hip hop and Eminem as the 'Rap Hitler'.Around this time Eminem, who also believe The Source had something against him after what he believed poorly rating his albums lashed out with the track 'The Source', hard hitting and claiming that although he had not started this, he will certainly finish it. From here the tracks exchanged with 'Pull up your skirt' from Benzino responded to with 'Nail in the Coffin' followed by a flurry of tracks exchanged between the 2. These included 'Die Another Day', 'Yooz a character' from Benzino and 'Invasion 3 freestyle', 'Monkey See Monkey Do' from Mr Mathers. During this time Benzino also revealed racist tapes, which Eminem publically apologized for, explaining he was angry how he had been dumped by his girlfriend and was 'stupid' at the age of 16. After the release of 'Like Toy Soliders', a song which had Eminem putting the mic down on the situation, realizing that things had gone too far and it was time things came to an end before lives did. In a short interview Eminem commented on the situation around the time of the 'Like Toy Soldiers' release stating: "A lot of times when rappers have beef, their sales incline. So meanwhile big record labels and heads of record labels, they benefit off this. They go home at night and they can sleep. They can rest their heads, and they can rest easy knowing that they are selling records. Meanwhile, we're really out here". "We're out here, and when we're not out here, some of our people are out here. Usually, nine times out of 10, somebody out of someone's entourage meets up with someone from somebody else's entourage. Usually the innocent people that really ain 't got that much to do with it — besides affiliation — end up getting hurt or killed. So ['Like Toy Soliders'] was, metaphorically speaking, my way of saying, 'Before this goes any further, I'm done with it."Benzino and the Source did themselves few favours by going against Eminem in the way they did, with hip hop figures such as Russel Simmons defending Marshall and one time enemies XXL using the opporunity to side with Eminem to further their posistion. Major record label Interscope, followed by Virgin and Def Jam also added insult to injury by pulling all advertising from the Source. Benzino's next single was 'Look into my eyes', a claim which advertised itself as a track response to 'Like Toy Soldiers' but bar a line or two referring to Eminem is was clear this was taking advantage of the situation and Slims position. The Source has Since paid out a large sum of money to Eminem over copyright infringement and Benzino has retired from the Source ................... and he also had beef with royce da 5'9 and ja rule and cage, everlast, ICP,Canibus, Jermaine Dupri, Limp Bizkit, moby, nelly, Twizted and this beefs are back then.

Why does eminem hate benzino?

In 2002, Benzino started a feud with rapper Eminem. Benzino claimed that Eminem was "a product of the machine that sought to discredit black and Latino artists contributions to hip-hop" Benzino released a diss record called "I Don't Wanna" where he claimed that Eminem was not real and true to the rap culture. Although Benzino didn't expect Eminem to respond, Eminem did with a track named "Bully". Benzino then replied with "Pull up ya Skirt" which featured on his 2003 album Redemption. After releasing this, Eminem released another two diss tracks named "The Sauce" and "Nail in the Coffin". In "Nail in the Coffin" Eminem attacks the heart of The Source by revealing their tactics of "butt kissing motherfuckers beggin' for guest appearances" and claiming "real lyricists don't even respect you or take you serious". Eminem continues to attack Benzino and his magazine. He mentions the fact that Benzino's older age makes him less competition and that he uses his son to help him financially as he suffers in the hip hop industry. Benzino then replied with the track "Die Another Day" to which Eminem responded with "Like Toy Soldiers" where he reviewed the entire battle with Benzino and vowed to end it before somebody got hurt, which seemingly ended the beef. The Source unearthed an old tape in which a young Eminem was rapping racial slurs against Black women. The magazine devoted its entire coverage to the discovery of the tapes, and also the (allegedly) negative impact that Eminem has had on the hip-hop industry. For his part, Eminem did not deny making the tapes; he claimed that he made them after a bitter break up with a black girlfriend (a situation upon which he elaborates on "Yellow Brick Road" on his Encore album). He apologized for making the tapes but also exhorted the public to consider the origin of the allegations.
